Mutt question

I have just started looking at Mutt on my new Debian system and I'm a bit
puzzled.
Somehow in the installation, the default editor became Vim. How can I
change it to Nano?
I see references to editor bindings in /etc/Muttrc, but nothing about
changing the actual program.
Help would be appreciated.
thanks.
