I don't remember all the available options but I recall pitch not being
supported before.  Is that still the case? if not, what options control
pitch or what command sequences would control pitch? Also aren't there
voice and tone options available too? Don't recall their status however.

One thing I noticed with Speech Dispatcher is when using pitch to denote
capital letters, it would pause before speak any cap letters.  When I
changed the Speakup /proc options to say "Cap" instead, it seemed much
more responsive.  I think this problem is not exclusive to Espeak
however.  

I will probably install the new version tonight or tomorrow.
