Listen-Up and CVS

I have a couple problems here. First of all, I keep hanging when trying
to pull a CVS update for listen-up. My current CVS directory for
listen-up points to bumpy.nondescript.ca.

The other problem I have is with listen-up itself. I have several books
I built using Eclipse Writer 2.2 from IRTI and listen-up just hangs when
I try to open any of those books. When I start listen-up, I get the
menu and I can hit the escape to toggle between navigation and menu mode
but nothing works otherwise. I hit enter on the open book option but I
never get any prompts nor book title shown or navigation messages or any
of that. When in navigation mode, I can't get any prompts telling me
what I moved to. I've used it in the past with some of the demos from
the goodies directory on bumpy but I'm not sure they even work now. I
don't have those images anymore and I can't download anything that big
from the sites with its poor bandwidth.

Is anybody successfully using listen-up at the present time? If I can
get this basic stuff working, maybe I could stup up to the plate and try
getting some of the other features working. It looks like what could be
a nice reader and I would love to be able to read daisy books under
linux. No, I'm not vibin' on emacspeak just now; I understand emacspeak
has a daisy reader but...
