installing fc4

I see people talking about fc4 while I'm downloading fc3.  I did hear that
fc4 didn't come with speakup.  Would I be able to install it on top of fc3
which does come with speakup without  affecting speakup?
  I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it
