Yeah, it has to do with whether or not there is more black or cyan on the screen. If you turn off the hintbar and the command prompt it may work correctly. The problem is the highlight color for the menu is used as a normal screen color. It gives issues in a couple different programs. I would like to eventually add per program configurations, so that Speakup would know which mode to switch to based on the program... Your welcome. Michael McDonald APH
