The configuration for exim4 can be done by running: dpkg-reconfigure exim4-config You will need to modify the files /etc/email-aliases and /etc/email-addresses appropriately. Someone wrote a really good exim4 howto for debian please refer to that which you can find on-line somewhere before blindly taking my advice.
