Speakup Modified Fedora 4 Will Be Delayed

A few questions:
1. How are things proceeding with the building of the kernels?

2. I am a little confused, Janina wrote earlier in this thread that
there are problems with compiling speakup into a 2.6.12 kernel. Yet,
when I look at the ISO of FC4, it has a 2.6.11-1.136 kernel. Why are
attempts being made to compile speakup for the FC4 release on a kernel
that is not part of the official release?
I only ask because 2.6.11 kernel has been successfully compiled with
speakup.

3. I have also noticed that FC4 no longer has kernel-utils included with
the core. Is this the new direction of kernel.org, or a Fedora decision?
