verizon.net and speakup fc3

I use the pppoe package directly from rp-poe website and it works fine
-- there is a /etc/ppp/pppoe.conf you can edit and I think there is a
setup tool, but I never used it.  The user name and password must be
in the /etc/ppp/pap-secrets file and theuser namein the pppoe.confas
well.
