Pine is a program. It does not store any data for you. If you're talking about your saved mail, in folders such as saved-messages, sent-mail, and other folders you have created: they are under ~/mail, so they would be included in the du command, and in the backup. If you are talking about new mail, or any other mail stored in your inbox: that would not be included, as it is in /var/mail/klewellen. Luke
