I'm using the Apollo II hardware and it works fine till Slackware 9.1. It
doesn't work with Slackware 10.0 and not with the latest Fedora version. I
tried to compile a Kernel with Slackware 9.1 - Version 2.4.26 - the compile
went along well but it still doesn't work. I posted it to this list a while
ago but didn't get any response. I'm now trying to get the software synth to
work but that seems pretty difficult.
I hope I can do something about it otherwise I can't go on using linux.
Can anyone in this list give me some help as to what might be wrong or what
I could try?
I don't want to buy a new synth just because of this! It seems there aren't
many in this list using Apollo II! Can anyone give me hints about synths
that aren't too expensive? Many thanks in Advance and especially to You,
Hans, for taking up this subject again.
Regards
Ernst
