different flite voices

I changed line 95 in src/modules/flite.c as per your suggestion,
recompiled, and the linking step failed with an undefined symbol,
the one I changed.

I too had compiled flite with the option Steve suggested, but
with or without that option, both voices come with the flite
tarball, and both compile during compilation. They are in their
respective directories under ./lang in the flite source
directory.

Any clues how to resolve the linker error?

Flite is a very peppy program, and giving it a better voice would
be very desirable. I gather that flite does more work at compile
time, and festival does more work at run time, resulting in the
performance advantage for flite (and the challenging compilation)
