Hi, David. Actually, writing our own x toolkit is totally unnecessary as the gtk+ toolkits and even QT are being updated to work with gnopernicus and other screen readers. So it is a matter of patients rather than reinventing the wheel. Another disadvantage to introducing another toolkit is getting it adopted by mainstreme Linux developers that are already engaged in using other toolkits.
