No, I didn't have the same problem; sorry for the misunderstanding. My laptop booted from the floppy from the beginning but i couldn't boot from the cdrom without either changing the sequence temporarily or going into the bios and changing it permanently. I only made this suggestion because you said you couldn't boot from cdrom for now and I thought that you might be able to change that and use the cdrom if the floppy method wouldn't work. -- Cheryl "Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."
