Yes and if you do use endoshield, be sure and checkout from CVS at that same site; it is a later version that I made some changes to. I don't think he has done anything to it since 1.2 he has up there. The CVS version includes ipchains support for kernel 2.2 users and allows for greater number of trusted and blocked addresses.
