Hi Kirk,

I am also using gentoo.

I used the system rescue cd from www.sysresccd.org to do the install,
I had to patch in speakup after the fact.

I think it wouldn't be a big deal for them to patch speakup into the kernel for the live cd.

I am willing to send them the checkout script if they want me to do that.

Should we give them the checkout script or the 1.5 tarball though?  What is your opinion about that?
