On behalf of Bill Acker ... The iso images and kernel RPMs for the Speakup Modified Fedora Core 1.0 have been updated and are ready for your testing. Please beware that problems may still exist--the iso images are not yet tested. Support for Apollo synths is now included both during installation and in the installed kernels. Furthermore, the apollo is now correctly spelled with two l's at least when doing a modprobe, but we think also for indicating the synth for installation. If you have previously downloaded the Speakup Modified Fedora Core iso images, consider using rsync to update your download as follows: rsync -cvt bumpy.braille.uwo.ca::ftp/speakup/disks/fedora/1/*.iso . The above command assumes your target iso image files are in the present working directory (pwd). Of course these files are also available through anonymous ftp: ftp www.linux-speakup.org cd ftp/speakup/disks/fedora/1 And, they are available using a web browser: http://www.linux-speakup.org/ftp/disks/fedora/1/ -- Janina Sajka Email: janina at rednote.net Phone: (202) 408-8175 Director, Technology Research and Development American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) http://www.afb.org Chair, Accessibility Work Group Free Standards Group http://accessibility.freestandards.org
