Nope, that won't do it either. Either it's linked to another setting that must also be changed or it has something to do with this "Capture exclusive group: 0 line in the settings. Thanks for trying though. What is so frustrating is that this morning i was close to having the mike upand running; now i either just get noise or I get my voice with background static and/or feedback no matter what I do. It really _is_ like the lost chord!
