You probably did, which means either your sound card settings are
wrong, which is probably unlikely, or you are having the age old
firewall problems.  I suspect the later.

If it is the firewall problem you will need to open the appropriate
udp ports on your firewall and direct the packets for those ports to
the machine you are running speak freely on.
