Hi folks, the struct uart_port has a field mapsize, which sometimes is used to hold the size of the IO area. But only few drivers actually use it, some just set it, but most of them ignore it. (some drivers even alwas fetch this information from oftree, when they need it). Is there any rule on how to handle that field ? Or is it just up to the driver, what to do with it ? Does it do any harm setting this field, even if the driver doesn't use it ? --mtx -- Enrico Weigelt, metux IT consult Free software and Linux embedded engineering info@xxxxxxxxx -- +49-151-27565287
