Hannes, what have requested is there in "[PATCH 19/25] mpt3sas: Single driver module which supports both SAS 2.0 & SAS 3.0 HBA's" Actually patch series till 0-18 are resend by Sreekanth just for quick reference and/or to avoid any confusion. New changes are from 19-25. From 0-18 is already picked by Martin.
