This needs something like

  if (status & PCI_STATUS_IMMEDIATE)
    dev->imm_ready = 1;

It's true that PCI_STATUS_IMMEDIATE is the least-significant bit,
but the code here shouldn't depend on that.

But otherwise this looks good.
