This makes words like roaming and "ip mobile arp" come to mind. Have you
read up on those ones?

Subject: no configuring, no setting changes, no software

Hello everybody,

i read SolutionIP product sheet that comes from SolutionInc :

======
Wired travelers just want to plug in -- and go. No configuring.
No setting changes. No software. And hoteliers want to help
them on their way in a feature- rich environment that delivers
new services and a new value proposition.
In short, they're looking to Service Providers for a self- provisioning
solution
that will let guests and new revenue opportunities for the hotel take
care of themselves.
SolutionIP TM Hospitality offers the provider the key component that
turns a service bundle into a vertical market
solution: Visitor-Based Network (VBN) provisioning and management in a
box.
======

is there anyone know how to implement a linux box (a linux router ?)
that has capabilities like
that (no configuring, no setting changes, no software)..?
