is a searchable archive (I think it was here on linux-net & not linux-kernel,
if not then s/net/kernel/ in above) - was perhaps about 2 months ago, and
IIRC in a discussion between Donald and (partly guessing here) Dan Hollis
regarding onboard eepro100 being detected b4 or after PCI versions of same.
