From my work experience doing link budgets (i.e. predictions) going less than 0.1 dB is silly. But I wasn't thinking actual measurement. I agree, more prescision is good for measured quantities *and* acting on them. If the user isn't going to act on the measurments, then, of course, I'm not sure what good the extra precision is.
