looks good, no objection, I haven't test yet however

patch 1/8 is a bug fix but not worth for -stable

in patch 2, the local variable ret could be dropped and replaced with 
returns

patch 3, what is the local variable supported_interrupts good for?

patch 6/8 still has wrong subject: io -> iio
