2.6.20-rc4, ata2: spurious interrupt (irq_stat 0x4 active_tag -84148995 sactive 0x3)

in 2.6.20-rc4 I see a bunch of these guys:

which I don't see with 2.6.19.2.
I've tried this on 2 identical machines and it seems repeatable.
I get one or two of the above lines for each hdparm -Tt that runs.

is this something to be worried about?

judging from previous threads it may be relevant that ncq is now on:
  dmesg.2.6.20-rc4  ahci 0000:00:1f.2: flags: 64bit ncq pm led pmp slum part

it's an (8086:2681) SATA controller which I believe is ESB2.
lspci -v and dmesg for each kernel attached. OS is CentOS 4.4, x86_64.
BIOS is in enhanced ahci mode. versions:
