Is any work being done on implementing kernel support for the Marvell
88SE614x chipset?
Asus have released source code drivers for the chipset to accompany the
ASUS P5WDG2 WS Professional motherboard (Marvell 88SE6141 chipset). The
source is available for download @
http://dlsvr01.asus.com/pub/ASUS/misc/ide/marvell6141/61xx_SATA_linux.zip.
Being a relatively newcomer to Linux I've not managed to successfully
compile and install the drivers.
In any event, if kernel support is in the wings hopefully the linked
source is of some use.
