Hi everyone,
I have a box with a Adaptec AIC-8130/Marvell 88SX6041 chip integrated. I am using the latest FC5 kernel (~2.6.16.1) with the sata_mv 0.5 driver (which is the same as in 2.6.16.18). The arch is x86_64 (dual Opteron something).

The current 2.6.16.xx sata_mv drivers is known buggy.
Don't rely on it for anything important.

The attached patch is an untested backport of the latest sata_mv,
which should be more reliable than what you've been using.

Thanks!

I built a new set of kernel rpms and put them in my kickstart tree. It will be a few days before I get to where the box is, but I will try it then and report back.
