SinoVideo 3420A-2 firmware extraction

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi everybody,
When I got no reply to my request for info on the EC168 chipset (
http://plone.lucidsolutions.co.nz/dvb/t/usb/sinovideo-3420a-2 ) I decided to
have a go at sorting it out myself.

I've managed to get stuck at the first hurdle. I know that the firmware is in
a file named EC168BDA.bin but I don't have a USB 2 enabled Windows machine so
I can't intercept the firmware as the driver is loaded.

Anyone got any suggestions as to how I might proceed?

Thanks,

Joe
