Dear All, I just hg'ed a new clone from http://linuxtv.org/hg/v4l-dvb this evening; cleaned out the old kernel modules; re compiled and installed and... It works! :-) I'm sure I tried exactly the same process a couple of times this week without success but I'm happy now.
