I'm having trouble with a pvr150 card that I just added to my system. I don't know if I should post it here, or what, but I've been using the dvb drivers for months with no problems, so I figured it's a good place to start. My system is opensuse 10.3 with kernel 2.6.24.3 compiled by me. I just downloaded the latest v4l sources a half hour ago and compiled and installed those. Everything appears to be working on my pinnacle PCTV 800i cards. The hauppage appears to be detected right, but it's not working properly. When I attempt to use tvtime I can connect to the analogue side of the pinnacle cards at /dev/video1 and /dev/video2, but I can't open /dev/video0, which is my hauppage. When using mythtv, it connects, and tunes, and reports no issues, but it only seems to tune channels 3-13. I have connected the coax to the tv set, and can tune most of 3-70, but myth just shows snow for channels 14 and up. My pinnacle cards are hooked up to rabbit ears, and tune ATSC just fine. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong? jon@theboss:~> dmesg Linux version 2.6.24.3-default (root@theboss) (gcc version 4.2.1 (SUSE Linux)) #1 Wed Mar 19 08:47:29 PDT 2008 BIOS-provided physical RAM map: BIOS-e820: 0000000000000000 - 000000000009fc00 (usable) BIOS-e820: 000000000009fc00 - 00000000000a0000 (reserved) BIOS-e820: 00000000000e0000 - 0000000000100000 (reserved) BIOS-e820: 0000000000100000 - 000000003ff40000 (usable) BIOS-e820: 000000003ff40000 - 000000003ff50000 (ACPI data) BIOS-e820: 000000003ff50000 - 0000000040000000 (ACPI NVS) 127MB HIGHMEM available. 896MB LOWMEM available. found SMP MP-table at 000ff780 Entering add_active_range(0, 0, 261952) 0 entries of 256 used Zone PFN ranges: DMA 0 -> 4096 Normal 4096 -> 229376 HighMem 229376 -> 261952 Movable zone start PFN for each node early_node_map[1] active PFN ranges 0: 0 -> 261952 On node 0 totalpages: 261952 DMA zone: 32 pages used for memmap DMA zone: 0 pages reserved DMA zone: 4064 pages, LIFO batch:0 Normal zone: 1760 pages used for memmap Normal zone: 223520 pages, LIFO batch:31 HighMem zone: 254 pages used for memmap HighMem zone: 32322 pages, LIFO batch:7 Movable zone: 0 pages used for memmap DMI 2.3 present.
