Tuning is faster for me, too.

My vdr was hanging with black screen after channel switching in ~5% of
all cases. Besides the faster tuning also in the remaining 95%, this
"black out" problem is solved by the patch.
If you never achieve a lock on certain channels, this might be a
different problem.

If somebody else can confirm improvements, the probability for the main
tree will increase, I guess.

Another question: In the dib7000p driver there are msleep(200) and
msleep(45). Would it be better to use schedule_timeout to avoid such
long busy waits?
