Hi, First of all, I best point out that I'm not as knowledgable with regard to Linux or DVB devices as most of the messages on this list seem to be, so I hope I'm not asking anything to which the answer is too obvious. I got a Lifeview FlyDVB-T Duo on ebay. I had initially checked the Wiki to make sure it was supported (http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/LifeView_FlyDVB-T_Duo) - the picture there isn't very good, although my card has the same inputs/outputs, it has a heatsink so I can't check it is exactly the same layout. Anyway, I can't get the digital bit of the card to work - when I try to scan no channels are found. I think I've narrowed it down to a problem loading the tda1004x module but then I'm lost as to how to procede. I've included the relevent dmesg output, lspci -v as well as what I get from scan. The card works fine in Windows, and I've managed to get another DVB-T card working fine in Linux (but took it out now to make things simpler) so any help would be appreciated, I can send any other info/output that would be of use, Thanks, Rob dmesg [ 40.155883] Linux video capture interface: v2.00 [ 40.364031] saa7130/34: v4l2 driver version 0.2.14 loaded [ 40.364107] PCI: Enabling device 0000:00:0f.0 (0004 -> 0006) [ 40.364123] ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:0f.0[A] -> GSI 18 (level, low) -> IRQ 20 [ 40.364134] saa7133[0]: found at 0000:00:0f.0, rev: 240, irq: 20, latency: 32, mmio: 0xbd000000 [ 40.364141] saa7133[0]: subsystem: 5168:0306, board: LifeView FlyDVB-T DUO / MSI TV@nywhere Duo [card=55,autodetected] [ 40.364150] saa7133[0]: board init: gpio is 210000 [ 40.364240] input: saa7134 IR (LifeView FlyDVB-T D as /class/input/input4 [ 40.370829] usbcore: registered new interface driver xpad [ 40.370836] /build/buildd/linux-source-2.6.22-2.6.22/drivers/input/joystick/xpad.c: driver for Xbox controllers v0.1.6 [ 40.498562] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 00: 68 51 06 03 54 20 1c 00 43 43 a9 1c 55 d2 b2 92 [ 40.498573] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 10: 00 ff a6 0f ff 20 ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 40.498579] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 20: 01 40 01 02 03 ff 01 03 08 ff 01 2d ff ff ff ff [ 40.498585] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 30: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 40.498592] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 40: ff 1c 00 c0 ff 10 ff ff c2 96 01 16 30 15 ff ff [ 40.498598] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 50: ff 00 ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 40.498605] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 60: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 40.498611] saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 70: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff [ 40.690338] tuner 1-004b: chip found @ 0x96 (saa7133[0]) [ 40.742278] tuner 1-004b: setting tuner address to 61 [ 40.782248] tuner 1-004b: type set to tda8290+75 [ 42.424287] tuner 1-004b: setting tuner address to 61 [ 42.464238] tuner 1-004b: type set to tda8290+75 [ 44.061330] saa7133[0]: registered device video0 [v4l2] [ 44.061482] saa7133[0]: registered device vbi0 [ 44.061642] saa7133[0]: registered device radio0 [ 44.126379] PCI: Enabling device 0000:00:0e.0 (0004 -> 0005) [ 44.126390] ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:0e.0[A] -> GSI 17 (level, low) -> IRQ 19 [ 44.165735] saa7134 ALSA driver for DMA sound loaded [ 44.165771] saa7133[0]/alsa: saa7133[0] at 0xbd000000 irq 20 registered as card -2 [ 44.293670] DVB: registering new adapter (saa7133[0]).
