I've written already to post my problems with my af9005 remote control.
I've tested the af9005-lirc module written by Luca and I can't make it work.
For this, I'm trying to get any input from the ir receiver inside input (its work in hasefroch)...
$-:dmesg
dvb-usb: found a 'Afatech DVB-T USB1.1 stick' in cold state, will try to load a firmware
[ 1100.964000] dvb-usb: downloading firmware from file 'af9005.fw'
[ 1101.484000] dvb-usb: found a 'Afatech DVB-T USB1.1 stick' in warm state.
[ 1101.484000] dvb-usb: will use the device's hardware PID filter (table count: 32).
[ 1101.488000] DVB: registering new adapter (Afatech DVB-T USB1.1 stick)
[ 1101.492000] DVB: registering frontend 0 (AF9005 USB DVB-T)...
[ 1101.492000] input: IR-receiver inside an USB DVB receiver as /class/input/input9
[ 1101.492000] dvb-usb: schedule remote query interval to 200 msecs.
[ 1101.492000] dvb-usb: Afatech DVB-T USB1.1 stick successfully initialized and connected.
As seen, the input device is recognized as /dev/input/input9
i've tried get any string of data using it:
sudo cat /dev/input/event9 - nothing appears as string of data
and with input-events from inputlirc package:
$ sudo input-events 9
/dev/input/event9
bustype : BUS_USB
vendor : 0x15a4
product : 0x9020
version : 256
name : "IR-receiver inside an USB DVB re"
phys : "usb-0000:00: 0c.0-1/ir0"
bits ev : EV_SYN EV_KEY
waiting for events
timeout, quitting
And nothing gotten
Any ideas??
This method was not proved with af9005-lirc module from luca, would it work??
thanks in advance!!!
