Hello! I tried for days [or weeks... well] to find a way to use this card [cf topic and bellow] What I tried : - getting latest gentoo kernel : 2.6.22-r5; - getting latest mercurial version for v4l putting all this stuff together gave me some nice results in /dev [/dev/dvb/ appears] and dmesg [see bellow] The I tried with 2 differents programmes : 1- kdetv : error : "unable to grab video" and he tels me to play with v4l2 settings [well.. there are NO settings to play with -.-] Whe I launch it through a term, I have : kdetv: WARNING: V4L2Dev: VIDIOC_QBUF failed: Bad file descriptor or : kdetv: WARNING: V4L2Dev: VIDIOC_DQBUF failed: Inappropriate ioctl for device kdetv: WARNING: V4L2Dev::enqueueBuffer(): broken id: 3057808381 -> Doesn't work.... 2- tvtime : this one do no error... I started a scan, using "television" input.... it found nothing. I'm in "pal" tv mode, "europe" settings for frequences... so I guess it should work. Does anyone of you use this card successfully?
