Dear all, I am getting random disconnects with a hama and a wintv-nova-t usb dongle. I've tried w/ and w/o preemtion on (non)smp machines and it is all the same. I guess something is badly wrong in the device's firmware (or the linux driver crashing the firmware somehow). I've filed this as a bug report here: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7986 Does anyone else observe this and knows a workaround for that ? Is there anything one can do/(how could I/we help) to fix this ? Elsewise does anyone know of *stable* (uptime weeks rather than hours) usb dongles ?
