I am having some trouble getting a dvb card working in linux and am
posting here as a last resort to try and get it working :-)
The card is a Compro VideoMate DVB-T300

the last line about the frontend initialization happens when saa7134_dvb
is loaded
I have tried different kernels, currently i am using 2.6.20 x86_64
The distro i am using is debian etch rc1
I am using the driviers from the mercurial repositry at
http://linuxtv.org/hg/~hhackmann/v4l-dvb last time i updated them was today
I tried loading tvtime, and got no signal, but the following message
appeared in the kernel log
tuner 2-0068: tuner type not set
The message repeats whenever i try to change channels
If i try switching to the composite input in tvtime, the card works
perfectly and i get the picture
The tv antenna cable works fine when i plug it into the tv so its not
that either
Is there anything else i can try to get this card working ?
