Done, unfortunately it's not made any difference I put 5000ms in it to be
sure.
It has increased the time between these messages but the right amount so I
guess it is sleeping correctly?

Can you please try to extend the delays in stk7700p_frontend_attach
between the GPIO-control-sequence?
Can you also change the call of dib0700_ctrl_clock to
dib0700_ctrl_clock(adap->dev, 72, 0); ?

I increased all the delays by a factor of 10, and updated the
dib0700_ctrl_clock from 1 to 0, but I get the same no frontend and the
same output from dmesg.
DVB: registering new adapter (Hauppauge Nova-T Stick).
