Thanks, this is clear now. The 300i should be able to do analog SECAM-L, but I guess it won't happen within one day and there is no reliable detection of sub-tuner types on the saa7134 driver. It hits in the middle of some likely still unknown, but is not restricted to video _and_ audio SAW filters. As far I remember, the audio carrier is minus 40db to the video carrier on SEACAM-L. Doesn't tolerate any wrong settings and drives the chips to their limits. The SAW filters are outside the tuner housing on mt2050 types and there are tables ...
