Thanks for the suggestion I tried that, but it still doesn't make any
difference.
I forgot to mention last time, but if I wait a reasonable long period of
time 5 - 10 minutes I can then tune to QAM64 multiplex again.

try to set all tuning parameters except frequency and bandwidth to AUTO
