Be careful about the signal strength indication. There have been a lot of discussion about the meaning of the value in linux-dvb: The rule is, don't compare the value between different devices. For the new dib3000mc-driver the signal strength value reports the agc-response. The old 3000mc-driver filled a different value in the signal-strength-function.
