Hello :) I don't have a solution, but I have almost the same config, except that I run Gentoo, and vdr 1.4.0 , and everythnig works well. Sometimes, I get a 'you have no right to see this program' , but it last just a few seconds. Maybe Linux is more precise than Windows, and the little problem ( electronics, I guess ) prevent the CAM detection? What do you have when you go in 'menu' 'cicam' ? cu, jf On Tuesday 18 July 2006 15:20, michel@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: > I have tried to find, as good as i am, to find the solution, if possible, > to my problem. > > Problem: > The dvb-ttpci driver does not detect the insertion or removal of the cam > card. > > I have the following setup: > > nexus-s rev 2.1 (pci) > CI module (3,5" directly connected to nexus-s. > Aston ver 1.05 CAM (+ CanalDigitaal sim card) > > Linux FC5 latest kernel. > vdr (version 1.4.1) > kaffeine (0.8.2-beta1) > > The drivers load without problem.
