Hi Ed, I got the drivers working last night (still cant tune anything in yet though). Do the following; In Yast, Install the 'kernel-source' package. Bring up a shell su to root cd /usr/src/linux Run; make cloneconfig make modules make modules_install (this give us the kernel header files in Suse which was my problem) Optional: <If you have a nvidia video card like Chris and I reinstall your nvidia drivers in run mode 3> cd to where you downloaded the hg mercurial source tree (if you dont know how to do this ask again) run; make make install Reboot your machine and the drivers should load upon startup. You should now have /dev/dvb/ present. Past that I don't know - I haven't been able to tune anything yet using the scan utility! Cheers, Brett Ed wrote: Christof schrieb:The kernel number seems to be different already ... (2.6.13 as opposed to 2.6.16). Are you sure you are talking about Suse 10.1 ?Oops, you're right. I am using Suse 10.0. Can you nevertheless explain step by step what you did?
