Sorry, maybe I did not explain myself clearly enough... I do not expect
anything from anyone: I just asked which is the last version of the
driver that I can use on a 2.4-based system.

If the answer is "linuxtv-dvb-1.1.1", that's fine.
I'll fix the problem in some other way.
But then I wonder why the hg snapshot contains that "Makefile.kern24"
file (I did not find any documentation explaining that DVB on 2.4 is not
supported, and the presence of that file confused me).
