AverMedia USB DVB-T Volar

 Hi,

I am trying to make AverMedia USB DVB-T Volar tuner[0] work without any
success, though Avermedia claims it should work with dibusb driver[1]. I
am using Debian Sid (unstable) with 2.6.16 kernel.

I have followed Patrick Boettcher webpage, having downloaded an hg copy
of v4l-dvb and compiled modules. I have installed them and I have run
"modprobe dvb-usb-dibusb-mc dvb-usb-a800". Of course, I have also
installed firmware (everyone, so this cannot be the problem)
in /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware

When I plug the device in a USB port I don't get anything very useful,
but udev output, and nothing from modules themselves. The syslog output
is attached.

Any help would be welcomed, as I don't have any clue about what
direction should I follow to make this work.

 Thanks
