Hi Lo Chun Chung,

needs different clocking and other tweaks Hartmut introduced.

Don't trust the stuff too much you currently get told.

The latest saa7134 snapshot which build on 2.4x is about 7 months away
from the first working saa7134 hybrid device on 2.6x and the current
stuff doesn't build on 2.4x.

To come down from the other side would not be less simple than to move
up I guess as an innocent user ...

That it was dropped had a reason.

Current distros don't ship with modutils to keep 2.4x and 2.6x in sync
anymore and you would even have to fix all the scripts.

Looks like nobody suggesting such to keep was ever on 2.5x?
I know this is not true ...

OK, some people say it is trivial ...

If you are not a advanced kernel hacker it is _not_ .

Cheers,
Hermann
