The C1100 has a ves1820/ALPS TDBE2 set.

The good news is that the STV0297/TD1316 should be easy to make work in a USB device, since the code in ttpci/budget-ci.c already has a section thus:

        case 0x1010:            // TT DVB-C CI budget (stv0297/Philips tdm1316l(tda6651tt))

I might be able to take a look at it tomorrow, but for now it's time to collapse into bed :)
