Hi,

I tried your patch against kernel 2.6.15.4 (fixed one reject) and it
seems to work. The only thing I do not understand is a error message
from udevd-event:

Feb 13 15:12:08 amd64 udevd-event[13556]: wait_for_sysfs: waiting for
'/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:0e.0/0000:02:0a.0/i2c-2/2-0047/bus' failed

where this maps to:

Broadcast Decoder (rev 01)
Subsystem: Pinnacle Systems Inc. Pinnacle PCTV 300i DVB-T + PAL

The card itself seems to work now.

Thanks in advance

Christian

N.B.: Is there some option to change the duration from full muted sound
to current volume? If I switch a channel, it takes soooo long until the
sound has its normal peak/level.

It would be very cool, if there was some documentation on all these
parameters for tda9887/tuner/saa7134. As something like a poweruser, I
am not able to understand the meaning of all this. Maybe I am not alone
with this :-)
