Sure. That would be a very good start. Moreover it would be a big help 
for the people who are trying to flee from the command line.

We (cc'd the others) started upon a CI stack having both CI support (The 
High level CI also) LGPL'd, so that anyone is free to use that code in 
applications. With this library anybody wishing to use it will get the 
advantages of all CI types (that was the basic idea) without having 
independent application bothering to rewriting the CI stack with 
different CI types.

We are still working on this (not yet complete). I have been almost 
sleeping.. ;-) due to a broken link from my ISP.
