As far as I know, the Pinnacle 310i is quite different from
the Pinnacle 300i card and is not supported yet.

On the above line you can see that the Pinnacle 300i card is supported,
but the 310i is NOT. That is why initialisation fails, as you can see

As far as I have been told, the Pinnacle 300i and 310i are sold in France
as DVB-T only, because their analogue part is designed for the PAL TV
standard that we use over here in Germany, while you have SECAM.
Please correct me, if I am wrong.
